THE SPACES BETWEEN is written by Team Footlights, directed by Vanessa Silva, and produced by Footlight Studios. Starring Chelsea Gray, Ainsley Strachan & Rachael Olsem. THE SPACES BETWEEN was made for the 48 Hour Film Project 2022 and won Best Film, Best Directing, Best Acting, and the Audience Award. It goes on to compete in Filmapalooza 2023 against winners of other 48HFP from around the world.
The 48 Hour Film Project is a wild and sleepless weekend in which a team makes a film - from concept to writing, pre-production to filming, and post-production to delivery - in 𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 48 Hours. And if that’s not challenging enough, the team is assigned a specific prop, character, and line of dialogue - all required - after picking their random film genre out of a hat. It’s then up to the team to race to set and make a 4-7 minute short film.
