ABOUT
FOOTLIGHT STUDIOS
With a background in film and performance, Vanessa Silva and Heather Hentila developed Footlight Entertainment at the end of 2014 with the production of their first short film. Along with Ainsley Nicholson and Chelsea Gray, they evolved into Footlight Studios with the vision of creating characters they not only wanted to portray as actors, but to see more of on screen.
Since then, Footlight Studios has produced a wide mix of award-winning entertainment from films to episodic series and beyond. Their goal is to make an inclusive, safe, and professional space for storytellers, regardless of experience, with a focus on under-represented artists.
